Peanut Sauce

Adapted from this Averie Cooks recipe

⅓ cup creamy peanut butter 

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar ( or 1 tablespoon rice vinegar and 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce)

2 teaspoons ground ginger 

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon pepper

⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper

2 tablespoons water

Whisk the peanut butter, honey and vinegar. Stir together the ginger, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Whisk the spices into the peanut butter mixture. Slowly add 2 tablespoons of water while whisking until smooth adding more water to thin if desired.
