Adapted from Emeril Lagasse’s Malted Hot Chocolate Mix
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 cup cocoa
1 cup malted milk powder
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup mini marshmallows
⅛ teaspoon salt
Stir all ingredients until well combined. Store in airtight jars.
To serve, heat one cup (8 ounces) milk until steaming about 2 minutes in the microwave. Then stir in two heaping tablespoons of mix. Stir until the mix is well incorporated into the milk. Top with additional mini marshmallows or whipped cream.
Makes about 20 servings.
Try a cup of hot chocolate with an almond biscotti.
