Southern Coleslaw

½ cup mayonnaise 

1 tablespoons sugar 

2 tablespoons cider vinegar 

¾ teaspoon kosher salt 

½ teaspoon black pepper 

½ of a green cabbage 

Whisk together the mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Refrigerate until ready to use. 

Shred the cabbage using the large holes of a box grater. 

Stir the cabbage into the prepared dressing. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
